A unique modern range of Arabic typefaces (6 weights) used in all segments of the communication world of today by end users, corporate users and OEMs.
The range was created and designed by Mourad and Arlette Boutros. The design is based on the Kufic style respecting Arabic calligraphy and cultural rules. The addition of linked straight lines to match the Latin baseline level is designed to achieve harmony when used alongside a Latin equivalent typeface such as Garamond, Palatino and Times Roman as well as Helvetica, Futura and Frutiger.
This range is available in TrueType (Unicode) format for Arabic versions of Microsoft Windows 95, 98 NT and ME and for all versions of Windows 2000 and XP.
Please note that this range will not work with non-Arabic editions of Microsoft Windows 95, 98 NT and ME. For the Apple Macintosh, the range is available in PostScript format for Mac OS with Arabic support.
