Boutros Jawaher is a rounded serif typeface designed and created by Arlette Boutros. Like most innovative, modern typefaces from Boutros Fonts, Boutros Jawaher’s distinctive features respect Arabic calligraphic and cultural rules.
Boutros Jawaher’s modern appearance and large x-height make it very readable at various angles, sizes and distances. As a result, the new typeface is an excellent choice for maximum legibility in virtually any situation. When joining characters, it looks prominent, stylish and elegant. It is particularly suitable for headlines, sub-headings and body copy in applications such as women’s magazines and space-sensitive designs.
In bilingual (Latin-Arabic) applications, Boutros Jawaher works particularly well with Didot. Boutros Jawaher is available in three weights (Bold, Regular and Light).
